The American TV show, Angel is an off – shoot of the famous supernatural drama show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. No One is a Better ‘Vampire’ than James Marsters

Since long one of the Angel stars, David Boreanaz has been dominating my blogs with his ’sex scandals’, but this time, I have given him a break and decided to focus on some other stars too. Now recently, I came to know that James Marsters is the top vampire.

Don’t take me otherwise guys; he still remains very much a human. Actually, the star of Angel episodes has been ranked no.1 among all vampire characters on TV and in films. The polling was held by one of the leading TV and film magazines and James emerged as the clear favorite.

I don’t know about others, but I knew for sure that James would walk away with the honors. The manner in which he played his character of Spike is definitely not possible for anybody to emulate.

When you watch Angel episodes online, you will at once realize that he is no ordinary talent. In fact, he managed to mesmerize the viewers when he made his appearance in the first episodes of season 1 and 2. His performances compelled the show’s producers to include him as regular cast of the show. He played the antagonist in the entire series.

Remembering Glenn Quinn on his Birthday

You know, whenever I wish to see vampires and humans, I watch Angel online.

I think there are very few other shows that are better than this!!

But today I am writing this blog to remember one of the stars, who entertained us in season one and was never seen after that.

If you are a hardcore fan of Angel, then you must have understood whom I am talking about.

I am talking of none other than Glenn Quinn.

He portrayed the role of Doyle, the half demon – one who was born to a demon father and human mother.

Glenn Quinn appeared on the show only for 9 episodes, in season one. That happened not because he was kicked out off the show, but because he passed away!

It was his birthday on May 28th, 2010 and there were many who chose to watch Angel; as a sign of their love and respect for the late actor.

Glenn was someone who loved the idea of acting since his childhood. When he was a teenager, he performed in small theaters and also played the drums in a local band. Before he entered the career of acting, he also worked in restaurants, power plants and several other unusual jobs.

Before he started his career in TV series, he was seen in commercials too. He did commercials for big brands like Ray Ban and Pepsi.

His big debut came with the super hit show ‘Beverly Hills 90210?, where he was given a proper speaking role!

Before appearing in the Angel episodes, he worked in films too. The first film of his career was the 1991 average grosser ‘Shout’, where he played the role Alan. His last movie was in the year 2002, called ‘R.S.V.P.’

He made his appearance in Angel in 1999 and worked as Allen Francis Doyle for 9 episodes. After that, he was seen in the TV movie, ‘At Any Cost’ in the year 2000.

Angel Star David Boreanaz: The Master of Extra Marital Affairs

Recently, I was watching one of the Angel episodes as I am an avid fan of David Boreanaz. But, the news shocked me when I came to know, that he is in yet another extra martial affair with a woman who is a porn star.

He had accepted earlier that he was in a relationship with Rachel Uchitel, ex-mistress to Tiger Woods. But being in news of this sort again was not expected out of the Angel star.

This time it is the porn star Gina Rodriguez, who has been linked with David Boreanaz. Gina Rodriguez accepts that she was in an affair with the Angel star. Reportedly, they were involved in a sexual relationship! Yeah right! Like we’re gonna believe that!

I usually watch Angel episodes,
and seriously, it’s hard to believe that David Boreanaz has another side to his character. And that too, such a gory one! Getting involved with two women despite being married is typical of an unfaithful husband.

It is also believed, that the porn star and David were seen in the Gina’s bedroom many a times. Despite knowing, that David Boreanaz was a married guy, she didn’t bother to respect the relation, and got involved with the Angel star.

Guys, if anyone is new to the show, watch Angel online and compare David in the reel and the real world.

Yeah, whatever! I think the both of them can keep their lies to themselves. It’s like crying wolf!

A Tribute to Lorne from Angel!

It has been nearly three months since actor Andy Hallett, whom we remember as Lorne (aka “The Host”), from our favorite series Angel, breathed his last. This 33 year old young actor had been fighting a losing battle with heart disease for the past five years, before he succumbed to his illness towards the end of March, 2009. His untimely death has definitely created a void in the industry that is difficult to fill.

This talented actor, who portrayed the character of a demon in Angel TV show, was known to have provided a reasonable amount of humorous and musical break to the show. He joined the show as a side-character, but as the show progressed so did his appearances, till he became the heart of Angel. Despite being surrounded by darkness, Lorne was nearly always optimistic and was often seen counseling the other characters. In addition, he came across a compassionate and sympathetic demon who wore his heart on his sleeve.

Even though Angel TV show lasted for three seasons only, but Hallet managed to lay a lasting imprint in the hearts of millions of people, who found his character in Angel adorable and loving, despite its being a demon. Hallett portrayed the character of Lorne with so much kindness and compassion that it soon became a beloved character. It was only due to the sheer talent and conviction of Hallett, that he was able to change the viewpoint of people about demons, giving them a more humane look.

Even though, Angel had stopped airing many years before his death, Hallet was still recognized as Lorne. The fact that he is no longer amongst us has made his memory even more everlasting. It is difficult to imagine how Angel would have turned out, had Hallet not been a part of it. His death has immortalized the series as whenever Hallet is remembered, you will find a reference to Angel!
