David Boreanaz and grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his father, Dave Roberts (David Thomas Boreanaz), works as a weatherman for channel WPVI-TV whereas his mother, Patti Boreanaz works as a travel agent. His family is of Italian descent and there surname Boreanaz originated in Northern Italy. David was raised up as a Catholic.
He studied at Malvern Preparatory School for his high school in Malvern, Pennsylvania and later attended Ithaca College situated in Ithaca, New York and after graduation, David shifted to Hollywood in California to follow a career in acting.
Career and Works
Boreanaz’s debut came as a guest appearance in 1993 on the popular American show Married… with Children.
He worked on variety of TV shows, prominent of them being: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003), Angel (1999 – 2004), Baby Blues (2002), Bones (2005 – present).
He worked on the big screen with appearances on films like: Macabre Pair of Shorts (1996), Valentine (2001), I’m With Lucy (2002), The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005), These Girls (2006), Mr. Fix It (2006), The Hard Easy (2006), Suffering Man’s Charity (2007), Justice League: The New Frontier (2007), Our Lady of Victory (2008), Ed Rush (2008).
He also has worked on two video games in 2002, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Kingdom Hearts.
Angel
David Boreanaz performs the titular, lead role in the popular supernatural drama show Angel, where his character’s name is Angel or Angelus or Liam. David worked on this show from 1999 till 2004.
Angel is cursed with a soul although he is a vampire. There exists a prophecy that states that Angel would be major player when the time comes for the apocalypse.
In the series, Angel just fights out and slugs it out with evil and bad demons which were sent by The Powers That Be. His main inspiration for this work is the guilt and remorse for his actions prior to getting his soul back. He also becomes “the scourge of Europe” and also some times is referred to as “the demon with the angelic face”.
First this character was written out for the show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer but the character became so popular, that a spin – off, was created. As the season progresses, Angel becomes a father of a son, falls in love, and makes a lot number of friends and foes. As it happens with many characters of the show, Angel starts off being quite hesitant but turns out to be a humane champion to save the people and the world or as Cordelia says, “trying to save everyone on the planet.”
Angel is also the only character on the show to appear in every episode in every season.
Personal Life
David Boreanaz resides in Los Angeles, California. He was earlier married to Ingrid Quinn from the time period between 7th June, 1997 and October of 1999. Then he married model and actress Jaime Bergman on 24th November, 2001 and the couple has a son together named Jaden Rayne Boreanaz (Birth date: 1st May, 2002).

Boreanaz won the Saturn Award for Best Actor On Television, three times for his titular role in Angel; in 2000, 2003 and 2004.
