James Marsters, son of a former minister and social worker, has two siblings, a brother and a sister. He was raised in Modesto, California. When he was studying in fourth grade, he played Eeyore in ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and this was the time when he made it his dream to have a successful acting career. So, he later joined the theatre group at Davis High School. He attended ‘Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts’ and ‘Julliard Drama School’.
In 1987, he moved to Chicago and appeared as Ferdinand in ‘The Tempest’. For his splendid performance in the six hour drama ‘Incorruptible: The Life, Death and Dreams of Maximilian de Robespierre’, he received a nomination for Joseph Jefferson Award. He moved to Seattle in 1990. In 1992, he was seen in ‘Northern Exposure’. His other acting credits are ‘Andromeda’, ‘Chance’, ‘Winding Roads‘ and ‘Cool Money‘. In the 1999 remake of ‘House on Haunted Hill‘, James Marsters, played a TV cameraman.
